The unmarry key is needed if you purchase a Tazer second hand and it is still married to another vehicle. Another reason an unmarry key is needed is if you own a Tazer and it is married to a vehicle you traded in or no longer have access to, and want to use it in a new vehicle.
To purchase an unmarry key, you need to have the 4 digit unmarry code found in the Tazer menu, while in a vehicle or in the free ZPU software on your Windows 11 PC or Mac Computer. Once you purchase the unmarry key it will come to your email or spam folder. If using the ZPU software, on your computer, with the Tazer attached.
Run the ZPU software and click update. Then select unmarry on the right side of the screen and then type or paste the key into the activate box and click activate. This unmarrys the Tazer from the Tazer from the previous vehicle and it is ready to use in the new vehicle and marry.

- Access the Tazer menu with engine off and ignition in the run state.

In the ZPU software with the Tazer removed from the vehicle and attached to your windows 11 pc or mac.
- Download and Run the ZPU software(found on our website under support)
- Click update and then on the right side of the screen click unmarry.
- Click request to get the 4 digit unmarry number
